We offer one-on-one ground instruction by video conference (Zoom) or in-person in Eugene, Oregon.
Checkride Prep
As you’d expect from MockCheckride.com, much of our business is full-length mock checkrides, but if you’re not yet to the point where you feel prepared for a full practice test, we can still help! Our targeted checkride prep sessions include:
- What to expect on the checkride
- Building your checkride binder
- Prequalification for test (verifying required endorsements and aeronautical experience)
- Checkride answer strategy
- Targeted subject instruction and practice
Supplementary Instruction
We’re happy to assist you in mastering any and all subjects required for your upcoming FAA tests (both written and practical/checkride). These sessions focus on acquiring knowledge and applying it to real-world flying situations. Just let us know what you’d like to work on, and we’ll create a plan to get you up to speed.

FAA Written Test Prep
We’ve taught several in-person accelerated ground schools to help prepare students for FAA written exams, and are proud of our 100% pass rate on written test signoffs. If you’re looking to take a Sport Pilot, Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Certificated Flight Instructor, or Fundamentals of Instruction written soon, we can provide you the instruction and signoffs you need for your written test.

Signing Up for Ground Instruction
Arranging a Zoom-based ground instruction session is easy!
- Select a date and time with the form below
- Fill out the “comments” section with the subjects you’d like to discuss in your session
- Pre-pay the first hour of the session ($80) at the prompt
- Receive an email with session details, including a Zoom link
- Sign on at the scheduled date/time and learn!
